The Experience at Miró Tapas

During lunch and dinner service, guests can order favorites like gazpacho, oysters, and paella from the main menu.

Where it gets spirited is when the tapas start moving. The Chef’s rotating courses flow from the kitchen on overflowing trays, balanced by enthusiastic Bandoleros - animated servers who invite guests to jump in while the moment lasts.

Raise your hand. Laugh and shout. Wave a scarf in the air. Choose wisely and quickly, or the Bandoleros may whisk the tray away! Miss one? No worries - another delicious surprise is always on the way. The fun spreads fast, much like the honeyed butter served with our irresistible cornbread.

Our Historic Location

We’re proud to be located in a stunning historic space designed and built between 1880 and 1890 by Tacoma architectural partnership G. C. Clements & Co. Originally constructed as a four-story bank and commercial block, the building features Romanesque Revival and American Victorian architectural elements.

Today, the structure reflects a culturally significant blend of its original 1889–1890 design (including the original stained glass windows above the bar), the 1911 remodeling by Darmer & Cutting, and updates following the 1965 earthquake - making Miró Tapas a place where history, art, and hospitality converge.
