ABOUT MIRÓ TAPAS

Our location

A historic space! The Tacoma architectural partnership G. C. Clements & Co. designed and built the space between 1880 and 1890, as a four-story bank and commercial block using Romanesque Revival and American Victorian stylistic elements.

Today, the strikingly styled structure presents a culturally significant amalgamation of the original 1889-1890 design by G. C. Clements & Co., the 1911 remodeling by Darmer & Cutting, as well as the changes incurred following the 1965 earthquake.

Our style

Restaurant designer, Robert Stocker, was inspired by a series of trips to Spain to incorporate the vibrance and movement seen in works by artist, Joan Miró, into a uniquely experiential dining experience.

Our specialties

Waves and waves of delectable bites!...While guests will be given the option to order craft cocktails, soups and salads, oysters on the half shell, and  paellas, Miró Tapas will offer the novel and exuberant experience of tapas courses on the move throughout lunch and dinner hours. Come join the party!
